ISAACSON, Carol (nee Goldenberg) Passed away peacefully on Sunday, October 11, 2009 after a long and courageous struggle. Devoted mother to her daughters Michelle (Stephen Jacobson) and Dara and dear friend to their father Brian Isaacson. Carol was a cherished sister and sister-in-law of Gerald and Nancy Goldenberg. Proud aunt of Brahm and Heather Goldenberg and Steven and Sarna Goldenberg. Loving Graunty of Kyle and Isabelle. Carol was predeceased by her parents, Bea and Lou Goldenberg. Carol will be sadly missed by her soulmate Richard Dixon and his children Bonnie and Chris. The family would like to thank Dr. Tony Woods, Dr. Stephen Aaron, the staff at the University Hospital and Laurier House as well as her many friends who were unwavering in their kindness and compassion throughout her illness. Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, October 13, 2009 at 4 p.m. at the Chevra Kadisha Chapel (12313-105 Avenue), Edmonton. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to The Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Cross Cancer Institute, Edmonton.
