OBITUARY ALBERT JOSEPH BARBIERI 1943-2009 It is with profound sadness that we say goodbye to Albert, who passed away on October 12, 2009 following a long hard-fought battle with cancer, surrounded by his loving family. He leaves to mourn his dear wife Emily (Di Salvo), his children Mark-Anthony (Sonia Palmen), Andrea and his lovely granddaughters Olivia and Sofia whom he adored. As well as his siblings, his caring brother Paul (Rose), Jean (Carolle), Gloria (Frank) and Marc (Trudy). Albert will also be fondly remembered by his extensive family, friends and by his colleagues from his days as teacher and then principal with the Montreal Catholic School Commission. A special and grateful thank you to all the staff at the Royal Victoria oncology department. The family will receive condolences at Centre funeraire Cote-des-Neiges, 4525 Cote-des-Neiges road, Montreal, 514-342-8000 on Friday, October 16, 2009 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. followed by the funeral service in the funeral home chapel.
