Evelyn Claire MORRISON

OBITUARY EVELYN CLAIRE DONNELLY (nee MORRISON) Peacefully in Montreal on October 12, 2009 at the age of ninety-two. Beloved wife of the late J. Norman Donnelly, she leaves to mourn her son Brian (Mary), her daughters Colleen (Wayne Feeney) and Karen (Patrick Zimanyi). She will be lovingly remembered by her grandchildren Erin (Aedan Helmer), Allison and Megan Feeney, and Eric, Lisa and Kevin Zimanyi, as well as her great-grandson Shae. Predeceased by her brothers Gordon and Donald Morrison, she will also be sadly missed by her sisters-in-law Leona and Norma, and many nieces and nephews. Evelyn's life was marked by her selfless devotion to family and her strength of character, even in the face of adversity. Her family and many friends will remember her good nature and her love of fun, whether it was on the golf course, cross country-skiing or at her much loved cottage in Willsboro. Visitation at: on Wednesday October 14, 2009 from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 pm. Funeral mass to be held at St. Ignatius of Loyola Church (4455 West Broadway, Montreal) on Thursday, October 15, 2009 at 11 a.m. Interment to follow at Notre-Dame-des-Neiges Cemetery. The family wishes to thank Andrew and Sabrina, Margaret and the staff at Manoir Beaconsfield for their loving care.In lieu of flowers, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.
