ZIMMER , Linda Joanne February 1, 1951 - October 12, 2009 Linda Zimmer passed away peacefully at the Agape Hospice in Calgary, Alberta on Monday, October 12, 2009 at the age of 58 years. She is lovingly remembered by her husband Wally; son Jason (Amanda) Zimmer; daughter Jennifer (Chad) Brazil; grandchildren Justin, Jonathan and Lauryn Brazil, as well as Paityn Zimmer. Linda is also survived by her father Newell Haynes, brother Randy (Anne) Haynes, sister Carol (Glen) Cranston, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Linda was predeceased by her mother Shirley Haynes. Those wishing to pay their respects may do so at the Visitation held at FOSTER'S GARDEN CHAPEL, 3220 - 4 Street N.W., Calgary (across from Queen's Park Cemetery) on Thursday, October 15, 2009 from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held at St. Matthews Lutheran Church, 66 - 7 Street N.E., Calgary on Friday, October 16, 2009 at 1:00 p.m. If friends so desire, memorial donations in Linda's memory may be made directly to Alberta Cancer Foundation, c/o Tom Baker Cancer Centre, 1331 - 29 Street N.W., Calgary, AB, T2N 4N2.
