LANE, Earl 2009-10-14 Mr. Earl Lane age 78 years, a resident of Red River Towers, passed away in hospital on Friday October 9th, 2009. Earl had his one and only son with him at the time of his death. Earl worked for many years at Lakehead Monument, where he was a very hard working and dedicated employee. Since his retirement he and his wife Mary enjoyed the Kellaway cottage on Lake Superior. The cottage was his pride and joy. Family left with loving memories of his life are his loving wife Mary, devoted son Farley, daughter-in-law Kelleigh and their children, grandson Jake and grand-daughter Jenny Lane of Texas, step daughters Mary Ann of Montreal and Lynda of Winnipeg. Two brothers, Vern (Lillian), Glen (Roberta) sisters, Vera, Irene (Harold) Helen (Gilbert) Peggy (Bob) Betty (Fred) all residing in the Thunder Bay area. He was predeceased by his parents, two sisters and other relatives. Respecting Earl‘s wishes cremation has taken place and a private family interment in Stanley Hill Cemetery will follow at a later date. Earl will be missed forever.
