HANDZLIK 2009-11-01 Mr. Fred Handzlik (Bober), age 43, passed away unexpectedly on October 29th, 2009 with his family by his side. Fred had attended Twin Haven School, Avenue 2 and later graduated from Lakeview High School. He enjoyed many things in his life, such as wrestling and especially Elvis Presley. A highlight in Fred‘s life was a trip to Graceland with his nephew Ken. He touched many lives and loved to entertain everyone at every gathering, infecting everyone with his huge smile and his love. Fred is survived by his mother Mary, sisters Christine, Donna, Helen and Cathy, his brothers Karl and Henry, as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles. He was predeceased by his father Walter and his brother Walter. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 AM on Tuesday November 3rd, 2009 in the Chapel of the HARBOURVIEW FUNERAL CENTRE, 499 North Cumberland Street. Family and friends may gather one hour prior to service time. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Fred s memory to the Thunder Bay and District Humane Society as he had a great love for animals.
