THOMPSON, Billy Cole 2009-10-09 Billy Cole Thompson born March 16, 2008 passed way peacefully on Wednesday, October 7, 2009 at Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Centre with his mother and father at his side. He is survived by his father, Billy Ray Thompson, mother, Samantha Morriseau, pet cat Comet, Grandparents, Bill Laird and Zelma Head, Darcy Pedersen and Kelly Morriseau, uncles, James Pedersen, Andrew, Adam, Andre and Dwayne Thompson, aunts, Andrea King (nee Thompson), April Head, great-grandparents, Larry and Judy Morriseau and Ray Laird, numerous great uncles and aunts and cousins. He is predeceased by his great-grandmother Merna Laird. Funeral services will be held at St. Anne‘s Roman Catholic Church at Fort William First Nation on Saturday, October 10, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Larry Kroker s.j. officiating. Vigil prayers and visitation will be held on Friday, October 9, 2009 at 7:00 p.m. at St. Anne‘s Church. Interment will be at Immaculate Conception Cemetery with lunch to follow at the Fort William First Nation Community Hall. If friends so desire memorials to the Northern Cancer Fund would be very much appreciated. He will always be in our hearts with his smiles and laughter. A tree will be planted in memory of Billy Thompson in the Blake Funeral Chapel Memorial Grove. Annual dedication service Sunday, June 27, 2010.
