PURCELL, George - Mr. George Purcell at the Cornwall Community Hospital - McConnell Site on Thursday October 8, 2009 at the age of 80 years. Beloved son of the late George and Hortense (Latreille) Purcell. Dear brother of Louise Clark (Norman), Martha Heward (John), Helen McGillis (late Ford), and Howard Purcell (Evangeline). Predeceased by his brothers and sisters Owen, John, Lawrence and Marion Purcell, Monica McPhee, and Isabelle Cayer. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Resting at the Wilson Funeral Home 822 Pitt Street, Cornwall where visitation will be held on Monday October 12th from 6-9 PM, and Tuesday from 10:30 AM until the time of funeral. The Liturgy of the Word will be celebrated in the chapel of the Wilson Funeral Home on Tuesday October 13, 2009 at 11:30 AM. Rite of Committal at a later date in Precious Blood Parish Cemetery, Glen Walter. If so desired contributions in his memory may be made to the Cornwall Community Hospital Foundation.
