Oreste FABIANI

FABIANI, Oreste - with heavy and broken hearts we announce the sudden passing of our cherished husband, father and nonno, at his home on Friday October 9th, 2009 at the age of 75. A beloved husband to his wife Teresa for 53 years, a devoted father of Tom (Sarah) and Mary Mancuso (John) and a loving and proud nonno to Olivia, Vanessa and Kyle Fabiani and Alicia and Andrea Mancuso. He will be remembered with love by his sister Caterina Fabiani of Torino, Italy, sister-in-law Caroline Merante of port Colborne and by his nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents Tomasso and Raffela Fabiani, sister Maria Fabiani and brother-in-law Giuseppe Merante. Oreste was born in Gimigliano, Italy and came to Canada June 11th, 1959, where he worked for Inco in Port Colborne. He was an avid gardener, and will be missed in the soccer and hockey community where he was a Number 1 Fan to his grandchildren. Oreste was a friend to all, his home was their home. The family will receive friends at MORSE & SON FUNERAL HOME, 5917 Main Street, Monday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Vigil will be held at 3 o'clock. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated Tuesday morning at 11 o'clock at Our Lady of the Scapular Church. Rite of Committal with entombment will follow at Pleasantview Memorial Gardens.
