HELPS, Dorene, Rose (Vyse) - At Bluewater Health - Palliative Care on Wednesday, October 28, 2009, DORENE ROSE (VYSE) HELPS, loving wife of Earl Helps of Point Edward. Dear mother of Tim Savage (Michelle) and Scott Savage (Sarah) and stepmother of Kim Helps and Lyn Helps. Grandmother of Amber, Tyler, Lily, Ella, Haley and Cara. Daughter of Jean Vyse and sister of Ruthann Vyse, Bob Vyse (Karen), Ken Vyse (Marcy), Murray Vyse (Gert), Deb Lemon (Barry), Paul Vyse (Pat), Kevin Vyse, Jeff Vyse (Karen) and Kelly Vyse. Many nieces and nephews also survive. She was predeceased by her father Harley (1971) and sister Glenda (1968). Dorene was a full time volunteer for all types of events in Point Edward involving Police, Firefighters and minor sports. Funeral service will be held from the Chapel of the D.J. ROBB FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CENTRE on Friday, October 30th at 1:00 pm. Interment will follow in Resurrection Cemetery. Friends may visit with the family at the funeral home on Friday from 11:30 am until time of service. Sympathy may be expressed through memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society (cheques only please).
