HOFFMAN , George Henry With sadness, we announce the passing of George Hoffman at the age of 75 in Kenora, ON, on August 22, 2009. George is survived by his wife Gladys Giles Hoffman. Predeceased by his first wife, Kay. After Gladys and George were both widowed, a whirlwind romance began at Tim Hortons. They married October 9, 2005 at Knox United in Kenora. They shared their life together in Ellenton, FL and Calgary before moving back to Kenora in May 2008. For many years, George lived in the Willow Park condos in Calgary. A Service of Remembrance took place at Knox United, Kenora, on September 2. Interment at Mountain View Gardens, Calgary. Friends and family are invited to a gathering on Wednesday, October 7, 2:00 p.m. at Deer Park United, 77 Deer Point Road S.E., Calgary. Memorial donations may be made to the charity of one's choice.
