COOPER, Walter S. 1921 - 2009 It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Walter Cooper on October 14, 2009 at Hospital Honore-Mercier. Loving father of Michael and father-in-law to Carol, proud grandfather of Mason, wise and revered brother to Lilian and her husband and his best friend Robert Rust along with their children. He will be sadly missed and fondly remembered by his family, his many friends and remaining 5th Field Engineers with whom he proudly served during WWII. A remembrance will be held at Demers Salon Funeraire, 231 boul Laurier, Beloeil, PQ, 450-467-9454 on Sunday, October 18, 2009 from 10 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. that will include a 1:30 p.m. service. Guests are invited to a reception held afterwards at 3:30 p.m. at the Canadian Legion, 318 rue Connaught, Otterburn Park.
