CONN , Elizabeth (nee GILLIS) March 29, 1923 - October 13, 2009 Elizabeth, beloved mother, grandmother and sister, passed away in Calgary on Tuesday, October 13, 2009 at the age of 86 years. For twenty years Betty was a respected RN at the Bethany Care Centre. She served with the WRCN during WWII. Betty is survived by Geraldine, Ray (B.C.), Margaret, John (Adele), James (Tracy); grandchildren, Eric (Hillary), Chelsea, and Randi (Adrian). She is also survived by honourary family members, Kirsten Kubitz and family, as well as Chantel and her mother Tina, siblings Nonie (Harold) MacDonald, Ray (Teresa) Gillis, all of Nova Scotia, and Mary Gillis of Toronto. Betty was predeceased by her husband Frederick, granddaughter Quanah, stepson Gerald Conn, sister Nancy Gillis and brothers, William and George Gillis. Private Services were held.
