ERIKSEN , Ronald Jens November 16, 1960 - October 11, 2009 "We will all miss you, Ron" It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Ronald. He leaves to mourn his death: mother, Margaret; brother Rob; sister Martha (Bob); nieces, Jo-Lynn (Ken), Jennifer; great-nieces, Zaida and Jordis; great-nephews, Jakob and Joshua, mother-in-law Mary and long-time friend, Chris. Ron was predeceased by his father, Henning and brother-in-law, Doug. Ron leaves behind many relatives in both Denmark and The Netherlands. Ron always had a smile for everyone and it was very easy for him to make you smile. When Ron and Rob got together there was always laughter. One comment was made that the two should go into comedy together! Ron worked in Stores at S.A.I.T. He had also worked for Cardinal Bus Lines and Co-op and had his hand in farming. In his youth, Ron was a Calgary Highlander Cadet. Ron's aim was to TRAVEL, which he was accomplishing. He was always there to offer a hand and to help in any way that he could. An Open House to Celebrate Ron's Life will be held Friday, October 23, 2009 from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the Danish-Canadian Club (727 - 11 Avenue S.W., Calgary).
