Florence TREPEL

KAPLAN , Dr. Florence Trepel December 22, 1925 - October 14, 2009 Dr. Florence Trepel Kaplan, formerly of Winnipeg, Manitoba passed away on Wednesday, October 14, 2009. She was the devoted wife of the late David A. Kaplan, dear mother of Ross and Liz Kaplan of Calgary, and Sherrill and Sam McCall of Vancouver, BC. Florence will be greatly missed by her grandchildren, Jessica, Laura, and Charles Shapiro, of Vancouver, Nicholas Kaplan, of Toronto, and Daniel Kaplan, of Calgary. She is survived by her brother Murray Trepel of Logan, Utah. She will be remembered as a loving and devoted wife, mother, and grandmother, whose wisdom and guidance will be forever missed. There will be a private family graveside Interment. The family encourages their friends to join them for a reception at the Carriage House Inn on 9030 Macleod Trail South today, October 16, 2009 at 1:00 p.m. If friends so desire, memorial tributes may be made directly to the charity of the donor's choice.
