Donna SMITH

ROTZOLL-MacDONALD , Donna Donna Rotzoll-MacDonald of Calgary, AB, passed away peacefully surrounded by her children and family on October 14, 2009 after a brave and brief fight with cancer, at the Foothills Country Hospice in Okotoks, AB. Donna was born on July 8, 1951 in Marathon, Ontario and resided in Calgary for much of her life. Donna was predeceased by her beloved husband Henry (Hank) Rotzoll in 1987, her brother Barry Smith, and brother-in-law Don Cookson. Donna was a loving mother of seven children: Guy, Scott, Rory (Tracey), Bradley (Teresa), Melissa, Brody and Colton, as well as multiple strays. Donna is also survived by Dave MacDonald, her sisters: Maureen (Bill) Ullman, Shirley (Rick) Cline, Sandy Smith, as well as her brother Allan (Nancy) and mother Marion Smith. A devout thirty-nine year old; she passed away at fifty-eight years of age. Donna's life touched many hearts. Her successful real estate career of twenty-five years, selfless giving and hospitality will be remembered by many. Donna was known for her open door policy, never ending pot of coffee and good conversation. A Celebration of Donna's Life, will be held in the Chapel of MOUNTAIN VIEW FUNERAL HOME on Saturday, October 24, 2009 at 2:30 p.m. Interment to follow at Mountain View Memorial Gardens.
