McGARRY, Donald W. After a brief struggle with cancer on Sunday, October 18, 2009 at the age of 81. Loving husband of Jeanetta. Dear father of Myles, Bevan, Margaret, Deb, Donna, Robert and Patricia. Donald will be sadly missed by his 10 grandchildren and 1 great-grandson and his sister Irma. Friends are invited to visit the West Chapel of Hulse, Playfair & McGarry, 150 Woodroffe Avenue (at Richmond Road) on Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. A Celebration of Donald's life will be held at Parkdale United Church, 429 Parkdale Avenue on Thursday at 2 p.m. For those wishing, donations may be made to the Ottawa Regional Cancer Foundation or the Canadian Diabetes Association.
