KUCZKO , Pawel Adamovich 1925 - 2009 It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Pawel (Paul) Kuczko. He was born on November 18, 1925 in Belarus, and passed away in the morning hours of October 16, 2009 in Calgary, Alberta. He is survived by his daughter Alla Hopfner (Gerry) and his grandchildren Larissa and Anthony Hopfner, as well as several nieces and nephews in Belarus. The family would like to thank all that were involved in the care of our father and grandfather and for their exceptional kindness and compassion - Dr. Peter Duggan, his nurse Karen and all the staff of Unit 47 A, Day Medicine, Unit 36 Special Services at the Foothills Hospital, Dr. Mark Addison and the nurses and staff of the Bethany Care Centre. Relatives and friends are invited to a Prayer Service at the Russian Greek Orthodox Church of All Saints, 905 - 8 Avenue N.E. on Wednesday, October 21, 2009 at 7:00 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held at the Russian Greek Orthodox Church of All Saints on Thursday, October 22, 2009 at 10:00 a.m. with Rev. George Primak officiating. Interment to follow at Eden Brook Memorial Gardens.
