KRAUSE , Lloyd Walter March 27, 1928 - October 19, 2009 It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather, Lloyd Walter Krause. He is survived by his wife of sixty-one years, Seren and will forever be lovingly remembered by his children Brenda (Gordon), Barry (Caroline), Gary (Sandy), and Gail (Collin). Lloyd is also remembered by his two sisters, Irene Sargent and Shirley (Marvin) Hatelt. Lloyd's nine grandchildren Denise, Lisa, Eric, Tracy, Kirk, Lindsay, Taylor, Keira and Emery and nine great-grandchildren Brett, Hannah, Jaeli, Tye, Rylan, Chayse, Ava, Grady and Blake were always made to feel extraordinary in his presence. He also leaves behind his loving, best friend and companion Joyce. Lloyd made sure that his family and friends knew that he loved them unconditionally and would go out of his way to leave you with a smile. He took great pride in his family, one of his greatest joys being family reunions in Kelowna every year. His capacity to make light of difficult situations and move an entire room to tears of joy and love will live on forever. Join us for a Celebration of Life, Family and Friendship held at FOSTER'S GARDEN CHAPEL, 3220 - 4 Street N.W., Calgary (across from Queen's Park Cemetery) on Monday, October 26, 2009 at 3:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Lloyd's memory may be made directly to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Alberta, 200, 119 - 14 Street N.W., Calgary, AB T2N 1Z6 or to the charity of one's choice.
