HUTCHBY , John Henry "Johnnie" January 6, 1915 - October 16, 2009 Beloved husband of Helen "Jimmie" Hutchby, passed away unexpectedly at their home on October 16, 2009 at the age of 94 years. Johnnie was born in England January 6, 1915 and immigrated with his family to Canada when he was a young boy. He enlisted in the Canadian Army at Calgary February 1, 1940 and proudly served his country until his release on October 20, 1945. He later worked for Deeve's Plumbing until his retirement in January, 1976. He enjoyed playing cards, dancing, and travelling all over with Jimmie in their motorhome and made very good friends with people everywhere. Johnnie lived a full life and will be greatly missed by everyone who knew him. He is survived by: his loving wife Helen "Jimmie"; daughter Lorraine and her husband Harry, Calgary, AB; grandchildren: Kirsten, CFB Petawawa, ON, Trevor, Mount-Isa, AUS; sister Joyce, stepsister Rose Collins; as well as great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews. There will be no formal Funeral Service. If friends so desire, memorial tributes may be made directly to the charity of the donor's choice.
