CURRY, Jean Agnes (nee Edward) Quietly, early on the morning of October 15, 2009 Jean let go her tenacious hold on life at the age of eighty years. Predeceased in July by George, her husband of 58 years, whose loving care allowed her to stay home in Lacolle through the first 11 years of a long illness. Dear mother of Richard (Julia), Karen (Bryan) and Lynn (David), and fond Nanna of Megan, Erin, Michael, Ryan, Jed and Alyson. Jean will also be missed and remembered by brothers and sisters Edwin, Dorothy, Andrew and Dale and their families. All who knew her well will remember Jean's great love of nature, and her endless creative passions. The family would like to thank the wonderful staff of CHSLD Florence Groulx for allowing her to live out the final years with dignity. A celebration of Jean's life will be held on Saturday, October 24, at 3:30 p.m. at the Odelltown Church, Lacolle, with reception to follow.
