BONITZ , Eldon Harry (Butch) 1924 - 2009 Passed away peacefully at the Bethany in Cochrane on October 21, 2009. He is survived by his son Rick (Judie). He has gone to meet his wife Barbara who passed away two years ago. Eldon lived all his main life in Carseland as he ran his own butcher shop. He was, as his daughter-in-law said, "a real gentleman". He cared for everyone and never had a bad thing to say about anyone he knew. He loved writing and taking pictures which he did all his life. He loved to tell stories about his times and was always available to tell anyone about history, which he loved. He will be sadly missed by anyone who knew him. I wish to thank all the wonderful staff at Strathmore Lodge and then the Bethany at Cochrane who looked after my dad over the last six years. He loved you all. Memorial Service to be held on Thursday, November 5, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. at the Carseland Rec. Centre. Arrangements entrusted to COCHRANE COUNTRY FUNERAL HOME, Cochrane, Alberta. Telephone: 403-932-1039. Published in the Calgary Herald on 10/23/2009
