William "Bill" E. Lewis March 15, 1951 - September 27, 2004 Funeral arrangements by Atlantic Funeral Home (Lower Sackville) LEWIS, William E. "Bill" - 53, Middle Sackville, passed away Monday, September 27, 2004, at home. Born in Halifax, he was a son of Gordon and Mildred Lewis. He worked as a courier for Same Day Courier and was also a volunteer firefighter of the Sackville Fire Department for over 30 years. Bill's life revolved around his family and the fire department. Surviving are his wife, the former Wilhelmina "Willie" Boomgaars; daughter, Natasha, Halifax; son, David, Halifax; brother, Roger (Kathy) Lewis, Halifax; grandmother, Bertha Rogers, Halifax; several nieces and nephews. Bill was predeceased by his grandfather, Luke Rogers, and mother-in-law and father-in-law, John and Aleida Boomgaars. Visitation will be held from 2-4, 7-9 p.m. today in Atlantic Funeral Home, 125 Sackville Dr., Lower Sackville. Funeral mass will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, October 1, in St. John Vianney Roman Catholic Church, Lower Sackville. Interment will be in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Lower Sackville.
