CROSSON, Robert George 1951 2009 Rob passed away at age 58 on Tuesday morning, October 20th. Rob was a bon vivant who loved to be with friends enjoying food and drink, and telling stories. He was born in Vancouver, lived in PEI, England, France, Ontario, Colorado, and Victoria. He enjoyed managing at the rock and roll bar The Thatch in the 80's, and also worked in construction. In Colorado Springs, as a young man, he free climbed at Red Rocks. In recent years he produced a music festival near Shawnigan Lake, raised money for disabled riders, and enjoyed gardening. Rob's positive attitude and good humour at the end showed generosity to others and demonstrated a strength of character that was an inspiration to everyone who was with him in his final days. He leaves behind his mom Lil, partner Karen Currie, siblings Stan and Sandi, nieces Shalane Crosson and Michelle Fillion, nephew Mike Doyle, and Thunder, his cat.
