Jessie HEWER

MURPHY, Jessie (nee Hewer) June 22, 1917 - October 19, 2009 Predeceased by Jim, her beloved husband of 65 years, and mother of her dear daughter Maureen. Jessie loved her 92 years on this earth. Her energy, spirit, enthusiasm, generosity and good humour shone through every aspect of her long and varied life. She was a great support to family and friends and a tireless community volunteer. As a mother, she was the greatest. The family would like to give thanks and pay tribute to the doctors, nurses, support staff and spiritual care staff of the Queensway Carleton Hospital for their wonderful care and support. There will be no service but Jessie would encourage you to give whatever you can to help those most in need in our community. Published in the Ottawa Citizen on 10/24/2009
