Irvin (Pete) Petrovitch After a courageous battle with cancer, Pete passed away in Calgary on October 15, 2009. Pete was born in Regina on December 26, 1929. He had a long and impressive hockey career starting with Scottie Munroe's Crowsnest Pass Lions, Nanaimo Clippers, Eddie Shore's Springfield Indians. Yorkton Terriers and Regina Caps. Pete worked for the Sask. Liquor Board and worked in most of the stores in Regina for many years. Pete will be missed by his many friends he made over the years. Pete was predeceased by his mother Emma and father John Sr., brother John Jr., and adopted sister Ida (Dick Davidson). He is survived by his wife Connie and son Peter, brothers Arthur (Marg), Wayne (Sandy), sister Louise (Tom Danyk) as well as many nephews and nieces. On the family's request there will be no formal funeral. Donations may be made on Pete's behalf to the Canadian Cancer Society or the MS Society.
