Thomas Edward Castaneda 1967 2009 It is with great sadness that Ted passed away on Monday, October 19th, 2009 at the age of 42. Ted is lovingly remembered by his wife Leanne (Wills); two children Kailey and Dylan; mother Elvira; sisters Maria (Chichi) and Elvira (Bing); brothers-in-law Doug, Joe and Justin; parents-in-law Lillian (Momsie), Leslie (Pops); nephews Max and Nick; numerous cousins, aunts, uncles, and friends who were just like family. Ted is predeceased by his precious son Thomas with whom he is now reunited, and his father Jose and older brother Ned. Raised in Estevan, SK until his high school years, Ted moved to Regina and turned into the beautiful man who we all knew and loved. He has been living in Saskatoon for the past two years. Ted was a very dedicated family man, business professional and football fanatic. His passion was his family, cooking fabulous dinners, and photography. Ted could excel at anything he tried or put his mind to. He was a fabulous writer, one for many words, and a go-getter. Ted was involved with the Kinsmen group both in Regina and Saskatoon and played touch football for many years in Regina. He believed in giving back to his community and was involved in many volunteer organizations. Ted is going to be sadly missed by everyone who knew him, but most of all by his two small children he left behind. Ted gave his all, Ted gave his love, Ted gave us inspiration. Please come celebrate his life with his children, family, and his friends. A Funeral Service will be held in Saskatoon on Monday, October 26th, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. at Hillcrest Funeral Home (east on 8th Street, turn right before the railway tracks). There will be a memorial celebration in Regina on Tuesday, October 27th at 7:00 p.m., at St. Mary's Parish Hall, (2020 Winnipeg Street).
