Gladys Dempsey passed away at the Gainsborough Health Centre Gainsborough, SK., on Thursday, October 22, 2009 at the age of 98. Gladys is survived by her 3 daughters: Evelyn Lanz, Dolores Elliott, and Carole Dixon; son Jack (Betty) Dempsey; 7 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren, and 23 great great grandchildren; sister Ina Dimond; sisters-in-law: Dorothy Darroch and Marion Darroch; also numerous nieces and nephews. A service to celebrate Gladys' life will be held at the Carievale United Church, Carievale, SK. on Monday, October 26, 2009 at 2:00 pm. Reverend Susan Fitch will officiate with interment to follow at the Workman Cemetery. Donations may be given to the Gainsborough Health Centre Auxiliary Box 420 Gainsborough, SK.
