Philip Norris DENNIS

DENNIS Philip Norris April 18, 1926 - October 13, 2009 Also known as "PAPA" to his 17 Grandchildren and 9 Great-Grandchildren - Our Father slipped away peacefully in his sleep with family by his side at the Laurel Place Care Home in Surrey, BC, after a lengthy struggle with Alzheimer's. He is survived by his loving wife Marie of 63 years, his 3 daughters, Susan (Dave), Karen (Tom), and Tammy (Craig), his two sons, Glen (Lisa) and Mark (Kathy) - his brother Dave, and many nieces and nephews, who will, along with his friends, forever cherish the love he gave, his generous ways and the many memories of all the great times we shared together. There are no words to express how much he will be missed and he will never be forgotten. We are forever grateful to Jan Mason for her kindness and the nurses and caregivers in the Colingdale Nursing Unit for the amazing care they gave and for the compassion, incredible patience and sense of humour they showed to our Dad over the past two years. Thank you to everyone who supported our family during this difficult journey. He is at peace and in Jehovah's memory (John 5:28, 29) and we will see him again when God's promise of a paradise on earth is realized. There will be no memorial service at this time.
