Harry H. FISCHBACH

FISCHBACH Harry H. Born January 9th, 1929 in Baden, Austria, passed away gently on October 12th, 2009 after a valiant struggle with pancreatic cancer. He was loved and respected by many. His interests were in chess, he founded and was president of the continental Chessclub in Vancouver. Harry and Karel Heynen, his partner, operated the Executive House, Men's Hairstyling for over 35 years. Many of his friends and customers benefited through his extensive knowledge of the Stock market. He enjoyed music and dancing. He loved his home in Arizona, but most of all his wife Ingrid; his soulmate and true love for over 49 years. Auf Wiedersehen my darling. A Christian service will take place in Austria at a later date. Close friends will be invited to a celebration of his life. Left to mourn are relatives in Austria and Germany. A special thanks to Rose Marie and Bruno who were there for me in my hours of need. Donations may be made to the Burnaby Hospital or BC Cancer Agency.
