GALANG Isaias Alcabasa (Tatay Ayas) Tatay Ayas, born on July 17, 1923, in Cabuyao, Laguna, Philippines, passed away peacefully on October 16, 2009, at VGH at the age of 86. Predeceased by his wife Federica and son Romy. He will be greatly missed by his loving 8 children: Flor (Elea), Lita (Edgar), Belen (William), Rose (Rod), Thess (Fermin), Andy, Boyette (Marilou) and Richard (Kaye); 21 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren; brother Felix (93), sister Eufrocina (80), many nieces, nephews and friends. Viewing will be held at Valley View Funeral Home on October 26 and 27, 2009, at 5:00 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. 14644 - 72nd Avenue, Surrey. Mass of Remembrance to be held on Wednesday, October 28, 2009, at 10:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Good Counsel Church, 10460 - 139th Street, Surrey. Interment to follow at Valley View Memorial Gardens.
