Jeannette Berthe DECARIES

GATES Jeannette Berthe nee Decaries January 22, 1931 - October 7, 2009 It's the dash between the dates that matters... We announce the passing of our loving, compassionate, selfless, jovial, adventurous, stubborn and dedicated, aunt, sister, sister-in-law and wife to her predeceased husband Russell W Gates in 1998 that she dearly missed. Jean was a champion whether it be lawn bowls (or the teaching of it), golfing, fishing, (much to Russell's chagrin), cooking (all of our favorites when we came to visit) or cards and games, she was a winner! Jeannie, you will be greatly missed by family (all across Canada), friends (around the world) and by everyone you touched in your life time. No service was requested by Jean but in recognizing her lifelong love of animals a donation to your SPCA would be a welcome acknowledgment.
