Hy CALOF

CALOF, Hy Hy Calof died tragically on October 23rd. 2009 in his 77th year, shortly after a beautiful family Shabbat dinner. Beloved husband of Ruth. Loving and admired father of Jonathan and Lois, Dan and Cheryl, Ron and Trish. Adored and adoring Zaidy of Andrew, Ethan, Michael, Ophira, Trevor and Shelby. Brother of Alice (Abe) Zeisler of Calgary. Uncle of Ruth Zeisler (Carlton Hughes) and Leib (Bettina) Zeisler. Hy will be sadly missed by his many friends, family and colleagues. A Funeral Service will be held at the Jewish Memorial Chapel, 1771 Cuba Avenue, on Monday, October 26, at 11 a.m. Interment following at the Jewish Memorial Gardens, 2692 Bank Street, Ottawa. Shiva to be observed at 2702-1480 Riverside Drive, from 1 - 5 p.m. and 7 - 9 p.m. with services at 7:30 p.m. Donations in Hy's memory may be made to the Ruth and Hy Calof Foundation at the Ottawa Jewish Community Foundation 613.798.4696 .
