Alan MACLEAN

MacLEAN, Alan Memorial Service Friday, October 23, 2009 10:00 a.m., St. John's Anglican Church, 11111 - 57 Avenue NW, Edmonton AB. Alan MacLean age 84, died September 26th, 2009. A member of the Rotary Club of Edmonton West, he served as president 1987-88 and was a Past District Governor; he was a major benefactor and remained active as the director of Leadership Development until his passing. Alan was a recipient of the Four Avenues Service Award and the Paul Harris Fellow Certificate. He was on the Board of Directors for the Heritage Festival in its formative years and served as president in 1988- 1989. Alan is survived by daughters, Christine MacLean, and Catherine Mayr (nee MacLean), son-in-law, Hans-Peter, grandchildren Alexander, Christoph, Dominik and Martina.
