ARENDARCHUK, Mary Ann On October 23, 2009, God called Mary Ann Arendarchuk home at the age of 87. She will be lovingly remembered by her only daughter Theresa (Ray) Lacousta, her beloved grandchildren, Jonathan and Elizabeth Lacousta; sister, Ivanna Zawner in Ukraine along with many nieces and nephews in Ukraine and Poland; niece, Mary (Marcel) Quintal in Montreal; godchildren, Irene Glowacki, Ann Wasala and Joseph Wasala; and very dear friends and neighbours. Mary was predeceased by her husband of 40 years (Teodor) in Edmonton in 1980; brothers, Joseph, Andrew and Yashko Zukrowski; and sisters, Anastasia and Kateryna (in Ukraine). Many thanks to Dr. Mike Fiorino, all the caring Staff of Miller Crossing over the past 5 years and Mom's dear companions Nadija Szram and Keiko. Prayers (Parastas) will be held on Wednesday, October 28 at 7:00 p.m. at St. Josaphat Ukrainian Catholic Cathedral, 10825 - 97 Street.Divine Liturgy of St. John Chrysostom with Christian Burial of the handmaid of God, Mary Ann, on Thursday, October 29 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Josaphat Ukrainian Catholic Cathedral. Reverend Bill Hupalo officiating with interment at St. Michael's Cemetery.
