OBITUARY AILEEN PELLETIER (NEE GILLIES) Passed away peacefully in her ninety-seventh year on Saturday, October 24, 2009, in Toronto. Loving and devoted wife of the late Rev. W. Charles Pelletier. Caring and dedicated mother of Dave (Liz) and Peter (Prema). Proud grandmother of Mike, Carolyn, and Sanjay. Predeceased by her brother Jack and her sister Marg Habib. Survived by her sister Joan Karrys (Gus). Born in Fergus, Aileen lived in Toronto until marrying in 1949, and spent the next twenty-nine years in St-Hyacinthe, Valleyfield, Trois-Riviere, and Levis, QC, with her beloved Charlie until his untimely death in 1978. After several more years in Quebec City, she eventually returned to the Toronto area. An ardent life-long supporter of Moral Re-Armament / Initiatives of Change, she strove for years to change the world for the better. Our heartfelt thanks to the staff at Briton House for helping make her last several years enjoyable ones. Friends may call at the TRULL "NORTH TORONTO" FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CENTRE, 2704 Yonge St. (5 blocks south of Lawrence Ave.) on Tuesday from 7 to 9 p.m. A funeral service will be held in the chapel on Wednesday at 11 a.m. Cremation to follow.
