Glenn Hartley KENYON

KENYON, Glenn Hartley Mr. Kenyon passed away peacefully, at Perth Community Care Centre, Perth, on Sunday, October 25, 2009, in his 85th year. Glenn Hartley Kenyon, born and raised in Balderson, was the dear son of the late Hartley and Anne Kenyon (nee Affleck). Glenn was predeceased by his wife Dorothy Gertrude (nee Robinson) in 2003, and also predeceased by his brother Albert and sister Helen. Glenn was the much loved uncle to Margaret (Graham) Kneen of Ottawa, Linda (Harold) Lewis of Kanata, Betty Jane (Kent) Stallan of Stouffville, and Hartley Winsor of Collingwood. Also left to mourn his loss are his grand-nieces and grand-nephews; Lynn (Jon Wilson), Theresa Lewis, Geoff (Shari) Kneen, Patricia (Robert Taylor) Kneen, Matthew Stallan, Jessica Stallan, Jonathan Stallan, and Sarah Winsor, as well as his great-grand nephews; Shane, Bradley, Alexander and Christopher. A proud farmer for many decades, Glenn will be fondly remembered as a kind and quiet gentleman with a passion for farming and horses. He will be sadly missed by his many friends and neighbours in Balderson and the surrounding community, friendships he developed over many years. Visitation will take place at the O'Dacre Family Funeral Home, 15 Victoria Street, Perth, on Tuesday, October 27th 2009, from the hours of 12:00 noon until 1:45 p.m. with the funeral service following in the Chapel at 2:00 p.m. Thence to Elmwood Cemetery, Perth, for interment.
