ESTEVES, Angela B. On Sunday, October 25, 2009, Mrs. Angela Esteves of Edmonton passed away at the age of 84 years. Angela was born April 8, 1925 in Covas, Paredes de Coura, Minho Portugal, lived in Almada, Portugal and immigrated to Canada in 1969. Angela is survived by her loving family; son, Joseph Esteves (Natalia Gago) of Edmonton; daughter-in-law, Joanne; four grandchildren, Anna (Gilberto) DaCosta, John (Suzie) Esteves, Jeffery (Shallen) Esteves and Phillip Esteves, all of Edmonton; five great-grandchildren, Justin Esteves, Julia and Jared DaCosta, Joshua and Kianna Esteves; three sisters, Carolina, Conceicao and Ana, all of Portugal; numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends both in Canada and Portugal. Predeceased by her husband, Joao Esteves; her eldest son, Joaquim "Jack" Esteves; her parents, as well as two brothers and two sisters. Prayers Wednesday, October 28 at 5:30 p.m. at Our Lady of Fatima Roman Catholic Church, 12311 - 55 Street. Mass of Christian Burial Thursday, October 29 at 10:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Fatima Roman Catholic Church. Reverend Marinaldo Batista officiating with interment in St. Michael's Cemetery.
