Alice Mary LETENDRE

GORDON, Alice Mary (nee Letendre) Mrs. Alice Mary Gordon (nee Letendre) of Onoway passed away peacefully at the age of 88 years surrounded by her family and those who care for her at the Citadel in St. Albert. She will be lovingly remembered by her family and friends. Alice is survived by her three sons and one daughter: Don and Ruby of High Prairie; Bob and Bonnie of Kamloops, BC; Loretta and Slim of Onoway; Perry and Darlene of Onoway; three sisters and one brother also survive her: Pauline Kolesar (SP) of St. Albert, Gladys Lifike (SP) of Edmonton, Barney Letendre of Edmonton, Jeanne and Paul Singh of Spruce Grove. She has 11 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren; a multitude of nieces, nephews and many friends. Her beloved husband, John and her grandsons: Dean and Laine, preceded her. A Funeral Service will be held at the Onoway Community Hall on Friday, October 30, 2009 at 1:00 p.m. Her grandson, Reverend Cameron Burns will officiate.In lieu of flowers, donations may be given to the Citadel Care Centre or the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
