Agnes Olinda PENNER

PENNER, Agnes Olinda Olinda, the beloved and cherished wife of Henry Penner, went to be with her Lord on October 24, 2009 at the age of 87 years. Together, Henry and Olinda celebrated 61 years of marriage on September 26, 2009. Olinda married Henry Penner on September 26, 1948 in the Bergthal Mennonite Church at Didsbury, Alberta and the Lord blessed their union with three daughters and one son. Olinda leaves to mourn her loving and devoted husband, Henry, daughters Sharon (Dale) Backlin of Calgary, Florence (Jim) Edwards of Lethbridge, and Janice (Richard) of Sherwood Park and son Vern (Cathy) Penner of Edmonton, AB. She also leaves grandchildren Stefan (Jamie) Backlin along with great-grandson Joseph; Christopher (Linda) Edwards along with great-grandchildren Jude, Jaris, Josiah and Annie; Lisa (Nathan) Boskers, along with great-grandchildren Sadie and Elliot; Nathan (Raylee) Edwards along with great-granddaughter Cassie; Katherine (Colin) Schmidt along with great-grandchildren Ella Jayne, Hugo, and Thor; Kristine (Jeff) Schellenberg along with great-grandson Elijah; Mark (Renae) Kulhawe; Luke Penner, Justin Penner and Tyson Penner. A Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 28, 2009 from 7:00-9:00 p.m. at Serenity Funeral Service, 5311-91 Street, Edmonton, AB. A Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, October 29, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. at the Sherwood Park Pentecostal Church, 1 Brower Drive Sherwood Park, AB.
