SMITH, Philip Harvey Gordon November 24, 1934 - September 26, 2009 Peacefully in Ottawa. Son of the late Arthur Herbert Reesor Smith and the late Dorothy Comfort Starr. Brother of Keith Smith of Connecticut and the late David Smith. Husband to the late Janet Elizabeth Dowd. Survived by his children Wendi Smith (Robert Milne), Christopher Smith (Catherine Burns), Evan Smith (Ginette Richard) and Rhonda Smith, by his grandchildren Kyla Smith and Adrian Smith and by his niece Sarah Smith and nephews Eric Smith and Duncan Smith. A memorial will take place on Sunday, November 1, 2009 at 2:00 p.m., at the Montreal West United Church in the sanctuary, 88 Ballantyne Avenue N., Montreal West, H4X 2B8. All are invited.
