PARR, STEWART EVOY September 10, 1923 October 22, 2009 Passed away peacefully in the arms of his loving wife of 29 years, Sylvia. He is survived by his only sister, Marion; his children, Susan, Shari and Graydon, all of Edmonton and Carolyn of Saskatoon. He also leaves five grandchildren: Jodi (Rob), Ryan, Benjamin, Timothy (Jolene), and Adam; five great grandchildren: Brighton, Robyn, Joshua, David and Kara. He will be sadly missed by several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by parents, Harold and Mina, brothers Elburn and Gordon. Stewart was born and raised in Saskatoon, attending Victoria and Nutana schools. He prepared for WWII by training as a Sgt Air Gunner in the RCAF. Later, he pursued his passion by attending art school in Calgary. Then, after a short time with the CNR, he joined Trans Canada Airlines as a passenger agent. Air Canada was his chosen career and after 30 years, he retired in 1982 as head of Personnel in Saskatoon. Stewart and Sylvia enjoyed their retirement in Westbank, BC. A celebration of Stewart's life will be held at Springfield Funeral Home, 2020 Springfield Road, Kelowna, BC on Thursday, October 29, 2009 at 1:00 pm.
