MANN, Lena (Tina, Teenie) (nee Vowell) Tina laughed and lit up our lives for eighty-six years. Her three month old great-granddaughter Alexis helped ease her transition on her last day (October 26) as they kissed and giggled together. Tina's passing was peaceful, at home surrounded by her family and with George, her loving husband of sixty-one years. She leaves behind her children, grandchildren and great-granddaughter who are saddened by their loss but knowing her laughter and spirit will be carried on by each of them: Bob, Sherri, Keri-Lyn, Brian, Alexis, Melissa, Ron, Joanne, Jeff, Brian, Debbie, Cathy, Susan, Marlene and Lloyd and her niece Anne, who was like her own daughter. Her beloved sister Betty, still bowling spares at ninety-seven years old, held the tenderest of spots in Tina's heart. Renee and Lawrence were cousins far across the pond, but never far from her heart. She joins her father, mother and siblings: John, Ethel, John, Lucy, Leah and Bill. Tina was blessed by deep and loving friendships and leaves a legacy of laughter and fun. We will be celebrating a life well-laughed on Friday, October 30 at: Urgel Bourgie, St. Francois d'Assise 6700 Beaubien Est, Montreal Visitation will start at noon. The service will take place at 3 p.m. in the chapel of the complex. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Almage Senior Centre, 8680 Hochelaga, Montreal, H1L 2M6 or online at CanadaHelps.org and type Almage in the search box.
