Mary Carmel Theresa JEFFREY

HOUGH, Mary Carmel Theresa 1932 - 2009 Peacefully and with dignity on Sunday, October 25, 2009 after a long and difficult battle with cancer. Mary (Midge) was predeceased by her parents Emily and John Jeffrey, her brothers Jack and Walter Jeffrey, her beloved husband Ronald Hough, her dearly loved son John and her granddaughter Kimberley. She leaves behind her daughter Cathy (Robert Bailey), son Ron (Kelley Hiley), granddaughters Alison (Wayne Reid), Karen (Brad Hudson) and grandsons Trevor, Colin and Scott Hough. "Big Grandma" will be missed by her 4 great grand children Matthew Hudson and Teagan, Janeah and Chase Bailey-Reid. Also mourning her loss are life long friends Margaret Brown, Lois Robinson, Sheala Bull, Betty Goodman and Lucille Chouinard. Our deepest and sincere thanks to the dedicated, devoted and professional staff of the Palliative Care at Elisabeth Bruyere. Midge was a quiet, private person and at her request a simple graveside service with immediate family will be held. Our sincere thanks to Father Brian Price of St. Francis Xavier Roman Catholic Church in Brockville who will be presiding over the service.
