Elspeth PATERSON

OLSEN Elspeth (Pat) formerly Chase & Cobb (nee Paterson) Passed away peacefully at her home in New Westminster, BC on Monday, October 26, 2009. Pat is predeceased by her husbands Leonard Olsen and Leo Chase and her former husband John Cobb. She leaves behind two sons, Ron (Janet) and John (Karen-Ann); one daughter Anne; two grandchildren, Christopher and Amy; her sister Margaret; two brothers, Gavin and James; plus numerous nieces, nephews, and close friends. Pat emigrated with her family from Scotland as a young child and grew up in Salmon Arm, BC. She eventually settled in the Lower Mainland and moved to Pitt Meadows in 1956 where she raised her family and was involved in community activities until 1980. Pat was a long time member of the Eastern Star. She will be missed by all of those who knew her especially her friends and neighbours at Dunwood Manor in New Westminster. A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 pm on Friday, October 30th at Burquitlam Funeral Home, 625 North Road, Coquitlam.
