Lane Hank BATES

BATES , Lane Hank Born July 11, 2004 Lane is the amazing son of Michelle and Jeffery Bates. Lane passed away suddenly early on October 26, 2009. He is loved and will be missed by his family. Lane was the best big brother to Emily (three) and Alyssa (one). Other family members who dearly love Lane and will miss him - Great-Grandparents Hank and Janna de Klerk, Nienke Vander Kooi, John Bruinsma and Toni Gamma; Grandparents Karen and Wayne Scott, Bill and Lucinda de Klerk; aunts and uncles Michael de Klerk, Jessica and Jeremy Holt, Nicole and Ryan de Klerk, Jennifer and Steve Briggs, Jennette and Scott Dyck, Stacy and Jerritt Bates, Jon and Irene Scott and Natasha Scott; cousins Keygan and Keyanna Bates Dyck, Zane, Colton and Kody Briggs, Cameron and Brett Holt, Jason and Paige de Klerk and Austin Scott as well as many other extended family and friends. Lane was amazing! He loved everyone and everyone loved him. The world really lost a super hero. Lane was a worker and he loved to help others. He knew that he could help by being a fireman, so he could keep us safe. Funeral Services will be held at Airdrie Alliance Church, 1604 Summerfield Boulevard S.W., Airdrie on Friday, October 30, 2009 at 1:30 p.m. Interment will follow the Service at Rocky View Garden of Peace Cemetery, 16 Avenue and Garden Road N.E., Calgary.
