GREEN , Alice Fay 1939 - 2009 Alice Green went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, October 27, 2009 at the Foothills Country Hospice after a brief battle with cancer. She is survived by her husband Gerald of fifty years, and two children Jeff (Shelley and grandsons Tyler and Ryan) and Tim (Andrea). Born in Cardston, AB she was raised as an only child of Bob and Margaret Jessop on a farm near Spring Coulee, later moving to Arrowwood. She graduated with matriculation in Mossleigh and went to Comptometer School in Calgary, working for the City of Calgary and BA Oil. She married Gerald in 1959 and they lived in Calgary until 1973 when they moved to their farm in Mossleigh. Alice volunteered with Meals on Wheels, was very involved with the Mossleigh and Arrowwood United Churches, and with the Mossleigh 4-H Clubs. She loved to garden, sew, paint, read, play cards and drive the combine. A Celebration of Alice's Life will be held on Saturday, October 31 at 2:00 p.m. at the High River United Church.
