KENNEDY, Thomas Born in Glasgow, Scotland on February 11, 1922, Thomas passed away with his loving children by his side at the Queensway Carleton Hospital on Tuesday, October 27, 2009 in his 88th year. He is survived by his devoted children: Audrey Blimkie and her husband Larry, of Pembroke, Elizabeth Arnold and her husband Randy, of Port Elgin, and Ron Kennedy and his wife Brenda, of Stittsville. He was much loved by his grandchildren: Kathryn DeJong and her husband Maurice, of Bornholm, Sheena Whitaker and her husband Jason, of Waterloo, Christine Dabek and her husband Tom, of Keswick, Jason Arnold and his wife Kim, of Cambridge, Rachael Arnold, of Port Elgin, and Jessica, Shawn and Scott Kennedy of Stittsville, as well as four great-grandchildren: Mackenzie, Paige, Victoria and Samantha. Friends may call at the Garden Chapel of Tubman Funeral Homes, 3440 Richmond Rd (between Bayshore Dr and Baseline Rd), Nepean, on Friday, October 30, 2009 from 1-3 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. Funeral service will take place at St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church, 80 Daniel Street North, Arnprior, on Saturday at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Milton Fraser officiating. A reception will be held immediately following the service, with interment taking place at Admaston Cemetery Saturday afternoon at 1:30 p.m. Special thanks to the staff of the Queensway Carleton Hospital ICU for their compassionate care.
