Rexford Leon NOXON

NOXON, Rexford (Rex) Leon Passed away peacefully, surrounded by his loving family on October 27, 2009 in Ottawa at the age of 93. Much loved by his wife of 68 years, Ruth (Slaven). He will be sadly missed by his three daughters, Nancy (Dick Sorenson), Penny (Tom Brogan) of Ottawa and Kathryn of Picton, Ontario. Grandfather to Sharon, Christine, Michael, Scott, Sandra and Colleen. Great-grandfather to Jacqueline, Adrianna, James, Caroline, Jack, Nathalie, Mason and Allison. Predeceased by his grandson Andrew. Born 1916, in Picton, Rex moved to Windsor in 1940 and worked for 37 years as a driver for Transit Windsor. He was a dedicated member of the Windsor Sportsman's Club. To everyone who knew him, Rex was unforgettable for his friendly charm and fun-loving character. His family would like to thank the staff at Medex Long Term Care Facility for the exceptional care they provided. A memorial service will be held in Picton at a date to be determined.
