George LINNER

LINNER, George (Sr.) Of Kingsville ON. Peacefully with his family by his side on Saturday, October 24th, 2009. Born 80 yrs. ago in Munich Germany (Feb. 21, 1929). Loving husband to Sophia for 53 yrs. Beloved father of George (wife Karen) and Catherine. He was a loving and caring family man. Dad worked tirelessly for the Walker Metal Foundry and later retired from Chryslers. He enjoyed many happy times at the Teutonia and Austrian Clubs of Windsor. He knew God, was baptized, and attended church regularly. His passions were music (he sang with all his heart), the outdoors and all that was alive (Kingsville Park, Pt. Pelee, the French River), swimming at the Sherk Centre, but it was "family" that mattered most. His friends Helmut and Mario were very special to him. Dad leaves behind many grandchildren Kristin, Kim, Meghan, Jillian, Katie, Jaclyn and Andrew. Loved and adored, sadly missed by all. Published in the Windsor Star from 10/29/2009- 10/30/2009
